Rag Day banned at Eden College

At the end of their education, the students celebrate it on the campus through 'Rag Day' festival. However, this time the Eden Women's College authorities have issued a notice banning such festivals.

The directive was issued on Saturday (May 21) in a notice signed by Eden Women's College principal Professor Supriya Bhattacharya. The college administration has directed to stop bullying and anti-culture in the name of Rag Day.
Supriya Bhattacharya said in the instruction that the students of their respective departments were informed about the issue as there were instructions to stop Rag Day in the educational institutions. At the same time, the department heads are being asked to keep an eye on the matter. Action will be taken in case of any unforeseen incident.
